Day 4 (Part 1) - United Center and President Obama Sighting

This post comes to you from the I-55 South, en route to St. Louis, MO. Before leaving Chicago, we decided to stop by the United Center, home of the Bulls and Blackhawks. I grew up a die-hard Michael Jordan fan (when he first retired in 1994, I actually cried-don't judge me, I was 11 years old) so I was extremely excited to see his statue that sits in front of the United Center.

We also saw President Barack Obama! He was more than willing to snap a couple of photos with us. However, for as eloquent of a speaker as he is, he did not have much to say to us...come to think of it, he didn't say a word to us. OK-so maybe it was just a life size cut out of him, but you must admit, the photo looks fairly convincing!
