Day 2 (Part Deux) - Chicago

Three hours north of Indianapolis, IN lies the great city of Chicago. Music on the drive north was provided by our favorite Chicago-native, Kanye West. En route to Chicago was Gary, IN, which is both the murder capital of the US, as well as the birth place of Michael Jackson...no, we didn't stop by. The inset picture is a view of the Chicago skyline from the I-94 North.

The Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers is our home for the next 2 nights. Navigating this city was confusing, much more so than our grid-style city of NY. Our Magellan Maestro GPS as well as Vlad's iPhone were sending us to all corners of the city before finally finding the hotel. Parking at the hotel is an absurd $36 per day - no discount is provided to patrons. A big 6 thumbs down to that one!
