Since the wait for the tram to the top of the Gateway Arch was too long, we decided to head over to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. To our delight, the tour was free ninety-nine and included the freshest Budweisers we've ever tasted. Big shout out to our tour guides Eric and Dave, who were both knowledgeable and entertaining.
If you're ever in the St. Louis area, we would highly recommend this stop, especially since it will cost you nothing. This place was like a Disney World for adults, fully equipped with their own buses, however, many kids were on the tour, they just didn't get the free beer at the end...their parents got them. Vlad and I have both been to the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam and the Guinness Brewery in Dublin and we both agreed that the Anheuser-Busch Brewery was the best one. Why, you ask? You actually get to see the equipment they use and you get to see the actual beer going through the assembly line. This is not the case in either or the other two as you only get to see the older retired equipment. However, learning how to pour a proper pint of Guinness at the Guinness Brewery was very cool. We're now off to Kansas City - stay tuned!
