Its a beautiful day in Chicago. We woke up and had an itch for some Chicago style deep-dish pizza so we headed over to Giordano's. These deep dish pizzas are abolutely loaded with cheese and whatever else you add in - definitely a heavy meal.
On our way to the Sears Tower, we walked through Millennium Park in Wrigley Square. There are some really cool pieces of art there - we would highly recommend it. The line for the Skydeck was a whopping hour and 45 minutes. General admission is $15, and for the impatient, there is a "Fast Pass" option for $30 which allows you to skip the line. Given our time constraints, we chose the instant gratification option. And yes, we were instantly gratified.
The Skydeck offers amazing views of the city. We were told by some Chicago natives and friend (props to Dopey) that the Hancock building offers views just as good and are free. However, we were still satisfied customers.. The Skydeck is equipped with several completely clear capsules that protrude from the building, including a glass floor! People afraid of heights need not apply. Stepping on the glass floor feels awkward at first but you will quickly acclimatize.
